It’s Tuesday: Time For Some Teasers!

Tuesday is the day I throw out a few sentences and try to tempt you into reading one of the books I’m reading. This feature is sponsored by MizB at Should Be Reading.

teasertuesdaySTACY: It is. It’s very warm. I wonder how long it will last?

RON: Are you really nineteen?

STACY: Yes… I am really nineteen.

[They continue making out.]

Those sentences are from a screenplay I’m reading. It’s Fast Times At Ridgemont High. Now I’m getting ready to watch the movie.

tuesdaywhereareyouI’m using the same book to answer the question: It’s Tuesday, Where are you?

It’s 1982 and I’m back in high school. I’m hanging out at the mall and cruising around in cars. I’m taking the usual history and biology classes. We also have the usual groups of kids at school: the jocks and the cheerleaders, the cool and the not-so-cool. And, then there is this one guy named Spicoli. You gotta see him. Totally awesome!
