Tuesday is the day I throw out a few sentences and try to tempt you into reading one of the books I’m reading. This feature is sponsored by MizB at Should Be Reading.
STACY: It is. It’s very warm. I wonder how long it will last?
RON: Are you really nineteen?
STACY: Yes… I am really nineteen.
[They continue making out.]
Those sentences are from a screenplay I’m reading. It’s Fast Times At Ridgemont High. Now I’m getting ready to watch the movie.
I’m using the same book to answer the question: It’s Tuesday, Where are you?
It’s 1982 and I’m back in high school. I’m hanging out at the mall and cruising around in cars. I’m taking the usual history and biology classes. We also have the usual groups of kids at school: the jocks and the cheerleaders, the cool and the not-so-cool. And, then there is this one guy named Spicoli. You gotta see him. Totally awesome!

Teaser Tuesdays: The Sister Pact by Cami Checketts
Is she really 19? Nice teaser. Here’s my tease: Teaser
Ha! Great teaser. I have not seen that movie since it first came out. My teaser is here: http://rundpinne.blogspot.com/2009/09/puzzle-king-teaser-tuesdays.html
I am awaiting what you think of the movie.
I am really wondering if you like the movie at all. I know it is not your style of movie.
That’s one of the best teasers I’ve ever read!
I gave up reading it, I just couldn’t get into it. I’ll try on the next one.
If you want to wander down my road I’m home.
Great teaser!
LOL!!!! Love it.
LOL – fun teaser Margot!
I haven’t watched this movie yet, but really should.
Here’s my Teaser! ~ Wendi
I read this last week & watched the movie over the weekend, but still haven’t posted. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do?
I just saw that movie as part of my extended Labor Day 80’s movie marathon. I love the 80’s. I love Jeff Spicoli.
How funny! This was my era (graduated HS in 1983). The hair and clothes in the movie are spot-on! I’ll look for your review of the screenplay, it might be something I’d like to pick up to remember when … (or better leave it forgotten!)
Nice teaser, I have not seen that movie in ages, enjoy.
Did they make the movie from this??? Love that teaser it made me laugh!!!
Bird Book Dog: She’s really only 15.
Cerrin: You are going to be surprised – I liked it. Review tomorrow.
Staci: Yes, they made the movie from this screenplay.
Haha, great teaser. I didn’t believe her for one second that she was really 19.
Here’s my Teaser Tuesday.
