My fear is that I will run out of books. When I visit schools to do my author presentations, I always tell the students about the time I was on the turnpike, and the cars slowed to a halt. There was a bear loose on the road! Luckily I had a book. We waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes. When you have a book to read that you love, you are never bored.

Hmmm….this sounds like an interesting series. What you said here got me to wondering if I really do enjoy stories that are entirely possible. I’m not sure now…guess I’ll have to give this series a try and find out.

I’m with Kathy. Even if you caught on to the premise quickly, I wonder if you would have a different feeling if you had met the women in book 1. But then there’s the superhero aspect, which would not have changed, no matter where you started.

My husband makes fun of me because I always carry a book or a magazine, even if we’re just running to the store for milk. It’s because he’ll remember he has to go to the hardware store and I know he’ll be in there forever looking at his kind of “toys” and gabbing with “the guys.” I wasn’t a girl scout for nothing – always prepared.

I didn’t know that Fern Michaels wrote a series that was 15 books already! Sounds like it could be fun.

I can so relate to the agony of being somewhere and realizing you have no book. In fact, the very same thing happened to me two days ago at MY dentist! ugh! I love the notion of the “inner-scoffer” – I have to steal that one! :–)
