Hello Margot,
I got a Google Alert on the review you did here for me and wanted to thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed my story. I've been quite busy with my book launch on Nov. 14 (just posted about it on my blog at Island Writer www.islandwriter.net) and then left that following week for a book tour through Georgia and Alabama. And of course Thanksgiving was Thursday and I had more company. This is a busy time of year to launch a book, but I've loved every minute of it!

And thank you to the commenters here. Please drop by and visit my blog or send me an email after you've read SPINNING FORWARD.
Best to all of you,
Terri

Add me to the ranks of being a former spinner (I still have my wheel). When I discovered bobbin lace, my knitting and embroidery took a backseat. The book sounds wonderful.

I don't knit or spin but for some reason, I really like books with knitting or yarn shops in them. This one sounds like a lovely read.

I like the sounds of this. I'm listening to an Elizabeth Berg book right now that has the same feel as this one. And I love to read debut novels :)

I lover the cover of that book (it sounds interesting too). We do have some things in common - not only books and blogging, but also knitting and spinning. It's years actually since I did spinning, but I was very into it for a while and had a spinning wheel, spun quite a lot of wool - mainly with Jacob's Sheep wool. I wasn't very good at it - but I did knit some mittens and a jumper with it. I did try spinning with my dog's hair but it was too soft and silky (she was a Golden Retriever).

This sounds great! A character who can re-invent herself because she needs to, a faithful dog and a great supporting cast - what more could you want!

This sounds really good. A waitress character seems to be a good way to get to know people in a town.
