2009 Holiday Reading Challenge

christmas-ornaments-1-1I just posted about the new holiday books I bought this week (see it HERE). And, just in time, comes a 2009 Holiday Reading Challenge sponsored by Nely. What great timing. Thanks Kathy for tipping me off to the challenge. Here are the simple requirements:

1- Challenge will start Friday, November 20 and will end Thursday, December 31.

2- You can read anywhere from 1 to 5 books.

3- They must be holiday related books. The holiday doesn’t really matter, but it would be more “jolly” if your choices were Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc.

4- The size of the book does not matter, nor does the genre. It is also okay for the book to overlap with other challenges. The only thing is they should not be children’s books. YA is okay.

5- To sign up – leave a link back to your challenge post. There will also be a post for review links as well as one for challenge wrap-ups.

6- And…. there will be goodies. That’s right, we’ll call them presents.

For complete requirements go to the Challenge page.

I already read The Christmas Clock by Kat Martin and now I’m going to read the two books mentioned in yesterday’s post plus at least one more. Here’s my list:

The Perfect Christmas by Debbie Macomber

Under the Mistletoe (two stories by Linda Howard and Stephanie Bond)

That Holiday Feeling (three stories by Debbie Macomber, Sherryl Woods and Robyn Carr)

I hope you’ll join in and read some holiday books as well – just for fun.
