In August I shared with you a new book, Voices of America by Joe Sohm. You can find Part 1 HERE. The book is a coffee-table sized volume filled with thousands of photos and essays on the topic of democracy in America. I was given permission by Joe Sohm to share some of his amazing photos with you. Enjoy the beauty of the photos and of the country they represent. I thought this appropriate for the holiday coming this week: Armistice Day, now called Veterans Day.

Great photos. I am tempted to post some of my own photos of favorite places in America (I live in Denmark, but have lived in US and travelled there a lot since then and have many fave places).
Wonderful pictures! Is it really almost Veterans Day? Gosh, where did the year go?!!!
I have that third one framed and hanging in our family room
Love the DC area.
I did enjoy them…they made me smile and realize how much I love my country!!
That book was truly amazing. The pictures so touching and the quotes that ate in the book were so inspiring.
Stunning photos! I could see looking at that book for years and always being affected. Thanks for sharing.
