Yes, that chicken recipe sounds so yummy! I almost always cook with plain old skinless/boneless chicken breasts, but I know legs have more flavor. Let us know how you like it.

And, soups! Yes, 'tis the season for soups. Glad your son and DIL will enjoy this cookbook as well.

I really love the artwork on the front. I would be interested in reading this for the ideas of eating healthy....now it is just actually cooking that way!! :)

Thanks for the message on our blog (Just One More Thing...). Your idea for the family version of read-a-thon sounds wonderful. We may have to see if we can include our grandkids in the next one. Someone none of our children turned out to be big readers - don't know where we went wrong :) - but we're trying to remedy that on the next generation.

Checked out your stack of books for the read-a-thon and saw Debbie Macomber's "Perfect Christmas". I just finished the audio version on my way to work today. Good, sweet, Christmas story. I also had "The Christmas Clock" in my pile, but didn't get to it yet. We are participating in the November Novella challenge, so I think I'll save it for then.

Thanks so much for introducing yourself. I'll be keeping an eye on your page to follow your travels - on land and on pages. What part of Kansas were you from? We originated in the North Central section, but have lived in lots of places in Kansas, Colorado and Nebraska.

This sounds good! They must have been dedicated to their dream to live like that for 3 years! I think this might make a great gift for my sister, so I'm going to look for it.

I like the sound of those recipes! We eat a lot of vegetarian meals and I'm always on the look-out for a good green sauce (Mexican)
