It’s after midnight here in Portland, Oregon and some of us are wiped out. That would be the two under-age people. The five adults are still going strong. (Correction. Make that four. I’m getting sleepy.)
Our two girls were championship Read-A-Thoners. Here’s Q (age 10.875) reading with her stack of books by her side. So far she has read the most pages: 1357. That includes a lot of books read to her younger sister.

Lou spent most of the day having everyone read to her but she did some quiet reading on her own. She also played quietly with some of her toys. She is a very good child.

We each took turns reading to Lou (age 4). We declared her the winner of the most books read. It was fun as, honestly, children’s books are so hilarious these days. Here are some of the books we read.
Both girls are now fast asleep. The adults are still reading. I can’t speak for anyone else but, I am planning to sleep for a couple of hours. I’ll be back with an update after that.
I hope all of you are still having a fun and enjoyable reading day.

You’ve done a great job! Keep it up and enjoy the rest of your reading. The end is near!
Those are some great children’s books you have there (and some great children Read-a-Thoners!) I’m going to save this post to show my Betty other kids who participated in this, too. Childrens books are awesome … as are you and your reading crew! Great job!
