Cancer memoirs are just too emotional for me. It does sound like a wonderful book for someone who has been diagnosed. I'll keep in mind for that. Great review!

I'm sure this is a wonderful book, but I think I'd have to be in the right mood to read it.

Every person has been touched by cancer one way or another. And knowing that others go through the same emotions and concerns makes the reader realize he/she is not completely alone while undergoing such an energy draining experience. Thank you for writing this needed book.

How terrifying. Being the same age (though only with 1 kid), I can easily put myself in her position. I certainly don't want to but it does hit home. I've had lots of cancer in my family and it just seems inevitable that someday this will hit very close to home.
