It’s Teaser Time
It’s Tuesday . . . Where are you? is a meme sponsored by Adventures in Reading.
I’m in San Francisco where there have been a couple of murders. I’m following a detective, Lindsay Boxer, as she conducts her investigation. Then I’m also following a reporter who’s looking into the background of another murder victim.
I’m reading The 8th Confession by James Patterson. From the same book here a a couple of teaser sentences.

Cindy smiled, said, “Love to. I don’t get to do readings too often.” She flattened the paper, said, “The headline is ‘Street Messiah Murdered. Police Have No Leads.’”
Teaser Tuesday is sponsored by MizB at Should Be Reading. Visit her for more teasers or to join in.

I love mysteries and this sounds like one. Good teaser!
Lately I have been reading more of mysteries!
Tuesdays: Teasers/Whereabouts
Good teaser, can’t usually go wrong with a James Patterson. Hope you’re enjoying it
Here’s my Teaser
I like James Patterson – this sounds like a good one!
By the way, from your comment on my Teaser? Red Stripe is a Jamaican beer. I had it a long time ago on vacation and it always makes me think of summertime. I was thrilled when a local store started carrying it.
I just finished 7th Heaven.
Sounds like a good crime novel.
I love mysteries, but book 1 didn’t totally grab me. I’ll have to try book 2 before I make a final judgment.
sounds like a good mystery novel. I am here
Ooh I hope they find their lead soon and solve this case. I’ve never read any of Patterson’s books other than Sunday’s at Tiffanys. I liked his writing there so maybe I’ll try out my first mystery book with one of his.
This looks good! Here’s mine:

Great teaser. Right away you want to know exactly why the “street Messiah” would have been murdered, and who could possibly have wanted to do such a thing.
I haven’t read Patterson yet; maybe I should finally pick up a book or two.
My teaser, meanwhile, is at Bookishgal.
I’ve been reading mysteries too. Great teaser.
Here’s mine from The Missing Ink by Karen E. Olson.
