Wednesday is the day to gather all the new (to me) words I’ve learned this week and share them with you. This week I only have two. I took a break Sunday and pulled out a good old romance novel by one of my favorite authors: Sandra Brown’s Long Time Coming. Here are my two new words from the book and some sentences that definitely fill the definition of ‘teaser’.
bacchanal: “He should know by now, especially after she’d had the guts to crash that bacchanal last night, that the lady’s temerity was disparate with her size.”
bacchanal means an occasion of wild and drunken revelry.
somnambulistically: Somnambulistically she dropped her clothes on the floor as she peeled them off.
somnambulistically means sleepwalking

You found 2 great words! I don’t think I’ll ever use somnambulistically – I’ll stick with sleepwalking. Thanks for playing along.
I love both of these. Though I really love the feel of “somnambulistically” rolling off the tongue. You almost have to say it slowly, don’t you?
Meanwhile, my own words are here.
Great words, although I knew both of them already. I agree with Phyl, somnambulistically definitely rolls off the tongue in a pleasing way! (It almost sounds like something Mary Poppins would say!)
Yikes! What a mess it would be to combine a wild bacchanal with somnambulistic rambling!
