Tuesday’s Teasers – Jantsen’s Gift

tuesdaywhereareyouIt’s Tuesday . . . Where are you?

I’m with a housewife in Neosho, Missouri. She has just experienced a mother’s worst nightmare – the death of her son. The grief nearly kills her but, miraculously, she bounces back and is able to find a new purpose for her life. Now this new purpose takes her all over the world.

I’m reading Jantsen’s Gift by Pam Cope with Aimee Molloy. Although the book sounds tragic, the author leads us to an admirable and inspirational conclusion. I should have my review done in the next day or so. From the same book here a a couple of teaser sentences.

teasertuesday“I was lost in a thought about something Rose Kennedy had said in an interview I had just seen: My life has been filled with sorrow and joy. I focus on the joy, and that is how I have survived. Maybe I can do that . . .”

Teaser Tuesday is sponsored by MizB. Visit her for more teasers.
